The Css property "scroll" will make the image scroll with the pages while the property "fixed" will keep the image in the same place. I am not sure if either one of these will create the affect you want since the content area is always changing in size. You might be better off using a separate background image for the footer.

Hi. I've made my own background for my blog and the thing is, my custom made wallpaper has my own footer. how can i make my background to scroll together as i scroll down and towards the end then only my footer from my background last. does this make sense? i've seen some professional blogs did this, so maybe if u can help?

This post is outdated. Blogger has a image upload option in the Design--> Template Designer-->Background. This will allow you to upload your own custom background. If it does not allow you to do so then you might be using a older template. If you go to www.blogger.come you will see the Design Option on your dashboard. Just follow from their. The Classic template do not have this option.
