Hide Blogger Navbar

Sometimes you do not want the Blogger bar at the top of your blog for everyone to see. Well with this code you can remove it completely. Keep in mind that you will now need to use the Blogger dashboard to access the option on the navbar.

To remove the Navbar from your blog you need to go to the Design option from your Dashboard. Then go to Edit HTML in the sub menu.

Click Ctrl+F and a text bar will come up. In this text bar paste the code below. This should find the code below in your HTML coding.
]]></b:skin>
Then place this code below directly above the code above.
#navbar-iframe { height:0px; visibility:hidden; display:none; }
It should look something like this after your done.
#navbar-iframe { height:0px; visibility:hidden; display:none; }
]]></b:skin>
If you simply just don't like the Placement of the navbar you can change that too.

Hi, First of all I'd like to say this blog is wonderful. I have been reading through your blog and FAQ. I thought this would help but no. (I guess thats what I get for trying to put ad-sence code in there) *sigh*

Adsense code??? I'm not sure what you were trying to do with this tweak and adsense! If you care to explain more maybe I can help you with your issue.

I am trying to put a custom google search thing on my blog. There are two codes one for placement of the search thingy,and another for where i want the results to appear. When I tried to apply it to my Blog the code itself was on my page,this tweak helped me figure out how to get my blog back to normal. I have no idea where to put the code. I have tried to find the info myself so far no luck. I am just trying to get my Blog together and looking spiffy before Nov..

If your referring to the adsense custom search bar You will first need to make a post in your blog. Does not matter the name but you can call it "Search Results" or something like that. Publish the post then take the URL of this post and use it on the "Search Results Style" settings page when your making the search box on adsense. After you have done that place the first snippet code it gives you in a HTML/javascript gadget where ever you want the box to appear. Then take the 2nd code and place it in Edit HTML mode in the post you just made.

I answered your question in the Blogger help forums but a TC removed your question because you were yelling. Their is no need to type in caps and will not get you help any faster. But as I said there, the Home link on the bottom of your page is called the Blogger pager. This is different from the Home link you see on the top of peoples blogs. As you see at the top of my blog I have a Home link. This is a Page Gadget which can be added in the Page Elements. This link below should tell you how to add them.

Followed the instructions above...nav bar is still there. Any additional tips? Thanks!

Try fixing the feed links mod you made just before the iframe code.

You don't have a closing curly bracket (}) to close of this section.

Any idea how to delete the "Subscribe to: Posts (Atom)" text and link?
