Creating Hyperlinks

Hyperlink or hypertext is a  simply making a link with in text and words. Its really quite simply to do.

If your on the Post Editor screen you will see a number of options at the top in your tool bar. When using the New Editor you will see a option called Link. This is your hyperlink option. Now for the Older Editor it just simply has image of a paper clip. Either way it works the same.

To hyperlink a word or sentence you just need to highlight the words you want to be linked. Then click the link button and a window will pop up. Paste the URL of the link you want this text to take you to upon clicking. Now you can link to emails as well. Just paste the  Email address in the text box window that pops up.

After you have linked a word you will see it now is blue or underlined. Now if you want to add coloring to a hyperlink you will need to do it before you put the URL in. Other words before its underlined.  If you don't add color to it before that then it will just take the attribute of the links with in your blog.

You can hyperlink images as well. Just highlight the image and put the URL in the window that pops up after hitting the Link option.
