Since the new Blogger interface came out we have dealt with many issues and I am sad to say their is one more major flaw. The new interface seems to hate it when you editing the template HTML directly and will issue a bx-error code when doing so. To avoid this problem you need to use the old interface.
To get to the old interface you need to go to www.blogger.com and log into your account. At the top right corner just below your name you will see a gear icon. Once you click the gear icon their will be a option called "Old Blogger Interface" which will bring you to the old interface that should allow you to make those complex edits that you want.
I hope they fix this issue soon!

ReplyDeleteFrom some of the things I've read, it appears that sometime in the future everyone will have to move to the new interface. I hope this is not true. I don't like the new interface. The old one is working - no need to change. Thanks for your info.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately yes we will be forced to move over to the new interface as this is part of Blogger moving forward. The worst part about this is their are many options that are only offered in the old interface that will be opted out. Classic templates will no longer be a part of Blogger which will cause a uproar. I can only hope they will fix issues like this before we are forced to move, but they have yet to tell us when they will fully move to the new interface.
