Blog URL

Blog URL is the link to the homepage of your blog in question. This is very important when asking questions in Blogger help Forums.

Example of a URL:
This blog has a custom domain so can be found by going to one of the following.

http://www.tweakmyblogger.com
http://tweakmyblogger.blogspot.com

It is best to use the .blogspot domain over your custom domain, unless the question is referring to a custom domain issue. In those cases you should post both domains.

Don't just put the name of your blog because we have no way of knowing what the full address is. Some blogs may have been created with a different name then the URL. Just because the title of my blog is  Tweak My Blogger does not mean the URL has to follow.

Why We Need The URL:

Although some people may not know this but we can view most coding in your blog through the page source. This can help us diagnose coding error or decide what codes need to be changed. 

We need to see what template you are using. Not all answers can apply to every template. Some templates don't have the same options.

Some cases we need to check to see if you are the owner of a blog.

We need to be able to see what you see so we can better help you. Some blogs are set to privet which is understandable, but we may not be able to give you accurate answers if your blog is set to privet. It is best to open your blog up before asking questions. We have no need to steal your personal info or read your privet blogs. We just simply want to see the issue.

We can not escalate a  question to a Google employee unless we have a the blog URL. To escalate we need the .blogspot domain.
