Changing Templates (Blogger)

As you may know Blogger is now equip with 3 different types of templates. In this post I will explain how to go about changing between the 3 types. Make sure you always Back up your template before changing.

Lets go over the 3 types of templates.

Classic: (2004-2006)
Layout: (2006-2010)
Designer: ( 2010-)

First you may need to identify what type of template you have if you don't know already. Once you have identified your template you can proceed.

Classic to Designer or Layout:

Follow the instructions below:
Template--> Customize Design--> Follow the instructions giving in this option.

You can select more Design Template after upgrading if you go to Design-->Template Designer-->Templates

If you want to use a  Layout template from the Classic Template you will need to upgrade to the Designer template first.

Designer to Layout:

Follow the instructions below:
 Design--> Edit HTML--> Select Layout Template.

Designer or Layout to Classic:

Design-->Edit HTML-->Revert to Classic Template

You can select more Classic template once you revert back to the classic style and go to "Pick Classic Template" Located in the Template option.
